Have your say - improve the experience of wound care

We’re currently working with the National Wound Care Strategy Programme (NWCSP) and the Patient Experience Network (PEN) to try to improve the experience of patients with wounds

This is your opportunity to have your say and support this important project.

As part of the project, PEN are planning a series of shared creations across three topics. The first of these co-creations is to help with ideas for the design and creation of resources to be used by patients when they are prescribed compression for lower limb conditions.

This project is being led by patients and carers and facilitated by PEN. The aim’s for patients, carers, family members (with and without experience of compression) and clinical/healthcare professionals (including pharmacists; GPs; care home staff or home care staff; and community or wound-care nurses) to take part and contribute to the development of the resources.

The first co-creation about compression for lower limb conditions is taking place online, and will close on 15 March 2022.

There are two ways you can contribute and share your thoughts and ideas:

  •  a closed Miro board (for those who love using post-it notes this is a virtual whiteboard) AND
  • a closed Facebook Group

Both of these are easy to use, full instructions will be given, and you can take part in either of these two options.

Access to the co-creation portals is by invitation only, so for more information and if you would like to take part, please email: [email protected]

This is a great opportunity to improve the experience of people who are prescribed lower limb compression. Any contribution you make, however big or small, will be greatly valued and appreciated.
