Rebuilding Lives Awards 2024 - nominations now closed

Nominations are now closed for our Rebuilding Lives Awards 2024

This year we are bringing back our hugely popular Spinal Injuries Association Rebuilding Lives Awards. These awards recognise the outstanding achievements of individuals and groups in the spinal cord injured community, who inspire others through their work or hobbies or during their rehabilitation.

Awards will be presented at the Rebuilding Lives Conference on Thursday 13 June 2024 (Milton Keynes).

Award categories

Nominations can be made for the following categories:

  • Baroness Sue Masham achievement award – presented to a person with spinal cord injury who has shown similar levels of commitment and dedication to the SCI community as our founder, Baroness Masham.
  • Frank Williams Academy healthcare professional of the year award – presented to an experienced outstanding healthcare professional who has gone above and beyond their role and made a significant difference to the SCI community.
  • Outstanding SCI team of the year award -presented to a team that has made a significant difference to SCI care or treatment in healthcare, rehabilitation or other SCI settings.
  • SCI network champion award (nominated by SIA’s network) – This award will be presented to a member or organisation within our network who has made a significant contribution to raising the voice of spinal cord injury, improving access to appropriate care and support for people with SCI or furthering the work of our strategic aims.
