SIA: Bank Holiday Office Closure Extended for an Extra Day    

SIA’s response to coronavirus earlier this year was swift and urgent. We redeployed our staff to ensure that we were able to support the increasing needs of our members and users, despite lockdown and social distancing measures. We were only able to do this thanks to our staff and volunteers, who all went above and beyond to ensure that SIA’s vital services remained the one constant during a time of such tremendous change.

As a thank you to our staff and to recognise their hard work, the Board of Trustees and Executive team decided to extend the bank holiday weekend for all staff. The CEO, Nik Hartley said,

“It has been utterly humbling to witness the level of dedication to the cause by everyone without exception over the past six months, managing with half the resources and double the demand.  Adding an extra day to the bank holiday is just a token of appreciation.”

We will therefore be closed from 5pm on Friday 28 August until 9am Wednesday 2 September. During that time you can still call our Support Line on 0800 980 0501 to leave a message and someone will call you back as soon as possible once the office reopens.
