Join Saracens Sport Foundation in #TOGETHERACTIVE

Due to the current situation with COVID-19, the Saracens Sport Foundation have decided to limit face to face delivery of their programmes. This means, that the 1,500 beneficiaries on whom they impact on a weekly basis will be vulnerable to social isolation, lack of physical activity and issues with mental health.

The Saracens Sport Foundation  are working hard on a number of different ways to tackle this, including online video content series, starting from Monday 23 March! The #TOGETHERACTIVE series will include a variety of interactive and inclusive exercise, skills, health, dance and well-being videos delivered by highly qualified and enthusiastic staff.

Saracens Sports Foundation (SSF) have also  been working hard at this time to support people who use and rely upon their services and have now created content that is going to be regularly released across all of their social media channels and on YouTube. You can find their channel here.

Please make sure you subscribe to the YouTube Channel so you don’t miss any of the new videos. We encourage all of our beneficiaries to engage with and share these videos to keep yourselves, your friends and your families active!  Much of this content is designed to help keep wheelchair users as fit and healthy as possible during times when it isn’t always an option to get out of the house, and it is of particular use to SCI people, so we are encouraging all of our members to head over to their youtube channel to check the videos out, and give them a try

These are incredibly challenging times for charities like ours, meaning we need as much financial support as we can get to continue to transform people’s lives. SIA are proud to be working together with Saracens Sports Foundation and the Saracens Wheelchair Rugby Team to better provide vital support to SCI people during these incredibly tough times.

Make sure to follow the hashtags: #TogetherInIsolation and #TOGETHERACTIVE over the next few weeks for more update, and please do share your efforts with us both by including @SaracensSportsFo and @Spinalinjuries on social media.
