Origin Care become national trusted care partner
We are growing our network, and are pleased to announce that Origin Care are joining us as a national trusted care partner.
ORIGIN is a private company, owned and managed by the two founding directors since 2001, Peter Henry and Linda Adamsen.
Like our clients, we live and breathe spinal cord injury because Peter himself has a complete C5/6 spinal cord injury and is also a client, while managing director, Linda, has extensive PA/care management experience and industry knowledge.
Vision
ORIGIN’s founding vision, to be the best rather than the biggest, provider of live-in care services for people with a spinal cord injury, remains at the very heart of the company. Providing a unique and wide range of specialist spinal injury care services Origin delivers focused and bespoke-to-you, live-in care services to meet individual needs and aspirations for independent living; as well as the best work experience for our office and care teams.
Services
- Fully managed care (FMC) – is a continuous long-term package with no hassle. You have the overall control of the care package but we handle all the bureaucracy.
- Respite care – is a popular option for shorter placements of a few days or weeks, e.g. if a family carer needs a break, you want to go on holiday etc.
- Introduction of a PA – if you wish to employ a chosen ORIGIN PA yourself, this can easily be arranged.

Our Trusted Care Partners
Earlier this year the partnerships team completed a comprehensive review into how we partner with organisations in the care sector, and developed a model for how we’ll be working with the sector going forwards. We’ve thought about what our members are looking for from a care provider, what’s happening across the sectors and the pressures they are facing, and how we can ensure that we are partnering with the right companies.
Through this process we initially found six fantastic care providers, all of whom are dedicated to providing excellent care for people with spinal cord injury to lived fulfilled lives.
