Growing our network

As we move through the first year of our strategy that will take us to the end of the decade, we’re delighted to announce that our network of organisations supporting the varied needs of all spinal cord injured people is once again diversifying.

This August, we have some fantastic companies, offering healthcare products and continence care, case management, and legal services, all of which have pledged their support to our work and the spinal cord injury community by joining our business membership scheme.

We recognise that finding the right services to meet your needs can be daunting, so we work with a range of carefully selected business members – and trusted partners – all of which are experts in their disciplines and share our vision of a fulfilled life for everyone affected by spinal cord injury.

Collaboration to meet diverse needs

We exist to be the expert, guiding voice for life after spinal cord injury, and we can’t underestimate just how important working with like-minded, capable organisations is to realise that purpose. We work with companies as part of our ‘Association for All’, drawing on collective expertise, raising awareness, influencing change, and coordinating much-needed support services for every person living with SCI.

Our business members are and integral part of the picture, and as well as making a financial contribution towards our work, they share willingly their knowledge, skills, and goodwill to underpin our services and further the cause to the benefit of all people with SCI.

We’re thrilled to say that we have the ongoing support of existing business member organisation which have pledged to support us for another year, and we thank them for their ongoing commitment.

Welcome to the team

We’re proud to announce details of the new firms which have joined our business membership scheme in August 2023.

Wellspect has been supporting individuals with spinal cord injury for over 40 years, with high quality bladder and bowel products, and services designed to meet their needs. We are therefore excited and proud to be supporting SIA with their mission to ensure that every person with a spinal cord injury gets to lead a fulfilled life.

“To be joining the Spinal Injuries Association’s Business Membership Scheme is a true honour. This fantastic organisation provides essential support and guidance to those affected by spinal cord injury and Corporé is pleased to now be included in this journey to ensure the best possible outcomes and help can be provided for those individuals and their families when they need it most.”

Mark Stirrup, managing director

“A spinal cord injury is lifechanging, and the impact of living with SCI can reach far and wide, impacting the wider family as well as the injured person. At Boyes Turner we know how important getting the right support, as early as possible, is to a person’s rehabilitation journey back towards independence and a brighter future. We are so very pleased to join SIA’s business membership scheme supporting the important work the charity does with the spinal cord injured community and all those supporting those people living with SCI.”

Want to join us?

The needs of the spinal cord injury community are varied, and we’re keen to offer as much quality choice as possible, so our search for companies which offer support and services to SCI people continues. In particular, we’re now accepting Case Management companies, and would be interested in hearing from Rehab organisations too, and welcome applications from any organisation that can meet the needs of SCI people.
If this sounds like your company, or one that yours works with, please get in touch.
