Courses for you
Anxiety
About this course
Our recent surveys have demonstrated that mental health issues in people who have acquired spinal cord injury are of great concern to people with spinal cord injury and healthcare professionals alike.
We are delighted to be working in partnership with NHS England South East Region to be able to bring you an excellent opportunity to access a series of free to attend virtual mental health and spinal cord injury education modules addressing the mental health issues people with spinal cord injury may experience, and how they may be managed.
This module examines anxiety and its physiology and psychology and looks at strategies for helping those adversely affected by it.
Delegates
The aim of these sessions is to provide practitioners with an understanding of the psychological and emotional challenges that can be experienced by a person with a spinal cord injury (SCI) and to build on existing knowledge and experience of how to have sensitive conversations with people affected by spinal cord injury, their family and friends.
