Soul Sanity acts as your mental health gym providing online activities, classes and support from qualified therapists encouraging individuals to focus on improving their mental health.
What is a mental health gym?
A mental health gym is a space or programme designed to strengthen and maintain mental well-being, much like a physical gym does for the body. It offers activities, tools, and exercises focused on improving emotional resilience, reducing stress, and enhancing overall mental fitness. Explore practices such as mindfulness, meditation, cognitive behavioural exercises, creative expression, and workshops on coping strategies or emotional regulation. The aim is to make mental health care proactive, routine, and available for everyone, encouraging people to regularly engage in habits that support their mental well-being.
Soul Sanity offers a range of online sessions that are scientifically proven to improve well-being boosting the release of “feel good” hormones:
- Dopamine – Often referred to as the “reward” hormone, dopamine is associated with pleasure, motivation, and reward-seeking behaviour.
- Serotonin – Known for balancing mood, feelings of well-being, and happiness. It also plays a role in sleep, digestion, and overall emotional balance.
- Endorphins – Natural painkillers that promote a sense of euphoria, commonly released during exercise, laughter, and certain enjoyable activities.
- Oxytocin – Sometimes called the “love” or “bonding” hormone, oxytocin promotes feelings of trust, connection, and affection, especially in social interactions or close relationships.
Unlike other platforms, all sessions are broadcast live, with a large variety available to participate in including:

About us?
Holly Novick founded Soul Sanity after witnessing a loved one’s life change due to a spinal cord injury. Experiencing first-hand the profound impact on both the individual and those around them inspired her to create Soul Sanity, a mental health gym offering affordable and attainable mental health support.
As a proud partner of Spinal Injuries Association (SIA) and collaborator with renowned institutions like Cambridge University and, more recently, the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, Soul Sanity at its heart is dedicated to helping those who need it most.
Sessions are led by experienced and certified teachers, established instructors, coaches, and qualified dietitians and therapists; all dedicated to raising awareness and promoting mental health. They aim to highlight holistic techniques supported by scientific research while also offering psychoeducational insights to nurture mental well-being.
