Our local community groups are a great way of connecting to other people with SCI, their friends and families and they offer regular opportunities to socialise.
The Oxford spinal cord injury community group meets on the second Monday every month from 12pm-2pm. For more details contact Gaynor Thompson.
Meet Your Host – Gaynor Thompson
My name is Gaynor and I’m your regional support coordinator. I was diagnosed with Cauda Equina Syndrome in January 2021 and had to have emergency surgery after attending A&E. Three weeks before, I was diagnosed with sciatica over the phone.
